B.A. Sociology and Spanish; Skidmore College

About Me

Originally from Baltimore, I am now finishing my last year at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. I’m a Sociology and Spanish double major, and over the past couple of years I’ve found natural ways to blend the two. Studying both has shaped how I see people and how I move through the world. When I lived with a host family in Madrid, I learned how to navigate a new city, strengthen my Spanish, and adapt to their daily routines. That experience helped me understand how culture shapes everyday life and confirmed how much I value connection and community things I have come to realize are core to who I am and what I value.

I’ve learned that I work best in environments where teamwork, communication, and personality matter. I’ve worked in restaurants, completed a hospital internship in Spain, and been part of teams that rely on flexibility and steady communication to get things done. These roles taught me the importance of empathy, patience, and keeping things human. Past coworkers have described me as adaptable and grounded, and I take pride in bringing warmth and truth to any group I’m part of. I’m still figuring out my next steps, but I know I’m drawn to spaces that value people, teamwork, and real human interaction.
